About Me

Ming Wang is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at North Carolina State University, where he studies coding theory and its applications to quantum computing. His research focuses on qLDPC code design, efficient decoding algorithms, and practical approaches to quantum error correction.

Outside research, he enjoys playing piano and transcribing music from video games into sheet music in his spare time. (YouTube Channel, Bilibili Channel, Musescore)

What’s New?

We’re delighted to announce the initial release of LightStim, a framework for evaluating and prototyping quantum error correction protocols. LightStim automates detector error model construction, making it easier to build simulation workflows for QEC experiments. For details, see our paper.
